How To Clean Your Dog's Ears Like A PRO! | Veterinarian Demonstrates

Follow
Dogtor Pete

Some dogs never have problems with their ears, while others seem to be constantly shaking their heads and scratching their ears. This is often an indication that there is something going on inside the ear canal and it is therefore always a good idea to take them to the vet to have it checked out.

Your vet may instruct you to clean the dog's ears at home and this can sometimes be daunting if you've never done it before and not exactly sure how much fluid you need to insert into the ear canal, how to massage the ear and how many times to repeat this process/

So in this video, I will be demonstrating exactly how we as veterinarians were trained to clean a dog's ears and thus what we expect pet owners to achieve at home.

If you have any questions with regards to this procedure, please feel welcome to let me know in the comments. And if there is another type of demo video you would like me to do next, also let me know. :)
