Cubert arrived in February of twentytwenty,
Excitement and joy flowed aplenty.
Our dreams were soon to come true!
But if only past Chiko and Moritz knew...

A pandemic was about to hit!
We were stubborn—there's no way we'll quit.
"Onward!" we roared, there's no turning back now;
Even in lockdowns, dreams are allowed.

Now here we are, bittersweet but ready,
To embark on this adventure already.
But first! Thank you for being there
Through thick and thin, and Moritz's wild hair.

Whether you thought climbing, tents, or beer,
We hope you'll join us here.

Our truck is a 2009 GMC Savana G3500 cutaway with a 12 ft box and our dream is to convert it into a camper van for a yearlong, North American rock climbing tour. Hence the name, Road to Pitches. Our departure date is set for May 2021.
