Once she was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, Shyreece says her local oncologist immediately put her on a cocktail of harsh chemotherapy drugs. She felt unheard and unseen, so she got a second opinion that ended up changing everything. Her second medical team informed her that her initial biopsied tissue had gone through biomarker testing, and the results meant she had different and newer treatment options available!
