Angela Martilik dreams of making a difference in the rates of PTSD and suicide in the police force. She was inspired to take on this issue during her police psychology class. By pursuing her doctorate in psychology, she hopes to impact the stigma that surrounds officers when they ask for help. Her dedication and passion earned her a grand prize in the 2017 Scholars of Change contest.
