Houston's First Baptist Church is proud to present the 1986 Houston Christmas Pageant: The King. This 2 act production takes place on 3 large stages, featuring the combined choirs of the First Baptist Church numbering over 500, live animals, and magnificent costumes and props. The first act features the birthday celebration of an 18th century king, the imagination of a child as the toys in the window of a toy shop come to life, and the powerful singing of Christmas music from the 500 voice choir and orchestra! This years production was broadcast live on local Houston affiliate, KPRC 2, and was picked up nationally and internationally via satellite on tape delay.
