Hot water electrical line has 3 wires (+ ground). Which do I choose?
Residential 240v 1ph application
My hot water supply line was ran with 10/3 wire. My hot water heater only needed 2 wires + ground which wire do you need to cap off and which do you connect to your hot water heater?
Answer IN MY CASE I used the black and red line on the supply 10/3 wire and capped off the white . YOUR CASE MAY BE DIFFRENT.
