A little about me, I've been raised in Wyoming, near the cowboy town of Cody. I was riding by the time I was 3yearsold. I lead my first pack animal when I was 6yearsold. It helped to have a Dad that was an outfitter and went to the mountains a lot. I went to my first rodeo when I was 11yearsold. Was in my first video produced by the Wyoming Travel & Tourism. Roped steers, calves and rode steers as I grew up. Would ride in to hunting camp on the weekends leaving Friday night after school when I was able to drive. My sister and I would saddle our horses, arrive at the trailhead when it was nearing dark and ride for 3 hours to get to the wilderness camp on the top of Eleanor Creek above Meeteetse and out of the Jack Creek Trailhead. I picked up bucking horses when i was in high school at the Cody Night Rodeo. During high school I rode saddle bronc, roped calved, was in the steer roping and began the cutting as a freshman. All four years of high school I was awarded the Wyoming Governors Award of Excellence. This award only went to one boy and one girl in each grade in high school. During my high school years in rodeo, I believe I attended all or 99% of all the Wyoming rodeo's and a good number of Montana rodeo's. After high school i attended college in Riverton, Wyoming and then rode for some trainers in Texas for a few year, continuing to pickup Rodeo's for Hank Franzen and other contractors.
I'm now living with Amy Landrus and we are raising our two girls, Rieta Rae and Dally James. We enjoy brandings at nearby ranches, riding colts, delivering and selling cattle supplement and building bumpers and flat beds.
