Himalayan cats, also known as Himmies, are a hybrid breed of Persian and Siamese cats, which were created in the United States. As a result, these cats have a long, silky coat with a Persianlike pattern, and Siameselike pointed coloring, on their ears, tails, faces, and paws. They also have bright blue eyes, an indication that they are Siamese.
