Himalayan 450 Weight Reduction: Drop 11 kg By Spending Zero Money

The idea is simple build a bike that works for my usage rallystyle fast offroad riding.

Over the next few weeks, I will play around with the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 by following some basic principles lighter, more power, better tyres, brakes and suspension with a riding triangle that is tailored for the rider.

In this video, we focus on some basic weight reduction. And there's a lot that can come off the bike.

Here's what we took off:

Rear rack: 1915 grams
Saree guard: 1020 grams
Centre stand: 2095 grams
Tool kit: 620 grams (but we put it back later)
Chain guard: 205 grams
Rear footpegs: 260 grams
Front footpegs: 550 grams
Mirrors: 890 grams 70 grams = 820 grams
Front cage: 3350 grams
Front number plate: 210 grams
Front fender: 475 grams

Total weight removed from the bike: 10.7 kg
