This is UNBELIEVABLE! Highland Park, what happened here? This may be one of the absolute worst, most abandoned, dilapidated cities in America. Located right next to Detroit, Highland Park was once home to mass production of automobiles. Today, there isn't much left. After the decline of automobile production, and the industrial era coming to an end, this city has suffered immensely. Jobs were lost, homes and businesses were abandoned, population declined in huge numbers. As of today Highland Park, Michigan has crime that is out of control, poverty that rivals any city in the country, and an overall sense of despair. Such amazing architecture of buildings are now a distant memory of what it used to be. Can it be saved? Let's check it out!
