The device appeared on March 34th, 21C8, gently perched along the bank of Pavel Street. The man whose home stood nearest the contraption, Anders, awoke in the meek morning hours to the machine’s saffron glow dancing on the ceiling above him. Baffled, he emerged from his haven, shielded from the fridged air by nothing more than a mere housecoat, to inspect the object. Standing four feet away, nervously unsure of it’s intention, he made out a series of numbers.
