I bought a 1977 Mack CF600 from the Arcadia, KS fire department for $3,000. This old truck must have been mind blowing when it was new and it's still wildly cool today. From the huge 6 cylinder Mack diesel engine to the PTO driven pump the drivetrain still puts in work. The emergency lighting and sirens still hang with the new stuff.
