Hawaiian Kine Custard Pie

My mom and sister used to bake delicious custard pies for Thanksgiving. I'm sharing my version of this onoliciuos custard pie. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
Aloha Nui!

Crust
Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl.
3 cups flour
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
cut in with a pastry cutter
2 sticks of cold butter and 1/2 cup shortening. (if mixing with hands, wear gloves).
Add liquids in a small bowl and add to flour and butter mixture.
1 tbsp vinegar
1 med egg
5 tbsp cold water
Mix together and form into two balls which will fill two 9" pie pans.

Custard to make one 9" pie pan
Add all ingredients in a large bowl.
4 beaten eggs
2/3 cup sugar
1 cup whole milk
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1 cup whipping cream
1 tsp vanilla extract (not tbsp)
pinch or 1/4 tsp nutmeg

Preheat oven 350
Bake for 15 at 350 degrees, then turn heat down to 285 degrees for 35 minutes. slightly shake pie to see a little jiggle on the top of the custard pie or poke with a toothpick should come out clean.
Remove from oven and let cool on counter top for about 10 minutes and then chill for 3 hours.
