Do you ever wonder why most of the people who have recovered from anxiety took multiple years to recover from their disorder?
For me myself it took around 5 years to get over this. In my videos I always attribute that accepting anxiety was one of the first things I had to do but now thinking back there was one very important thing I needed to go through before I could even start my recovery process. It doesn’t sound very attractive and fancy but searching for answers and dreading the pain got me to eventually hit rock bottom. This was a stage where I couldn’t see any point in fighting anxiety or possible diseases I may have had. I knew I gave it all I could but nothing was found and I felt even worse than before.

Giving up was me sort of getting comfortable feeling uncomfortable. Ive learned to accept that the way I am feeling right here right now isn’t something I have to fight or figure out right away. Its ok to feel this way for now and for the longterm I didn’t let anything stop me to gradually implement anxiety coping mechanisms into my life. I tried finding other reasons for me feeling this way so now I was only left with the anxiety fundamentals. So I started to go jogging, then weight lifting, implemented strong morning routines, tried myself with meditation and mindfulness and you know what without even properly realizing it I was pretty far into recovery.
