Dear Briza,
The moment I heard you first cry was the moment that I felt like I could finally breath again. The feeling of holding you on my chest and close to my heart for the first time felt like a dream that was too perfect to be true. Before you were born, our hearts were shattered and our purpose on this earth was unclear. I lost faith in myself and I didn’t know what it was like to feel joy, that was, until the day that you were born.
This past year with you has been simply amazing and perfect.
From tummy time, to watching you learn how to crawl, and now you’re clapping and almost walking! There is no better sound than your precious little laugh.

I feel so blessed to wake up to your sweet smile and Hugs every morning, even though you wake up at 6 am
Every day that I get to spend with you is so precious and I will never take our time together for granted.
You are my sunshine and nothing makes me feel more complete than your love and cuddles.
You have taught me what it is to feel complete happiness and love again, you helped heal my broken heart.
You have brought so much hope and joy, not only to us, but to many other families who have experienced the loss of a baby.
