How do you grow in love for God? We need to understand that disappointments and failures are opportunities to grow in love for God. We should learn to process our disappointments and see them as occasions to become closer to Jesus and not be contented to just follow Him from a distance. During difficult times, we must realize that we can't afford to give up despite our failures.

As committed followers of Christ, we cannot claim to believe in Jesus and not grow in love for Him. The essence of following Jesus is love. As Christ's love grows in us, His love flows from us so that to the outside world we are known for our love for God and others.
