In this video I am out at a dairy farm near Goodland Indiana on a beautiful July morning as they green chop some alfalfa for their dairy herd. First up in the video they are running a Case IH Optum 300 Tractor with a Pottinger Nova Cat 351 mower on the front of the tractor while pulling a Pottinger Torro 5700 Powermatic silage wagon. You will see the process in the field and the final product back at the farm as they unload the wagon.

This farm was also chopping alfalfa with a John Deere 9800i self propelled forage harvester with a Deere 649 Pickup head. Running beside the chopper was a Challenger MT595E & MT675E tractors both pulling Penta DB50 dump carts.

I have also included some drone footage from the dairy as they unload and build a silage pile.
