(Update: wait until you see how big he’s getting!!) We got a great Dane puppy a year ago, mostly for Francis, who is our deaf Saint Bernard. We have an older dog named Gracie, an English mastiff, but she is getting up there in years and we were worried if anything happened to her that Francis would be a little lost without another dog to take her cues from. She can get a little wound up and anxious. Arthur the great Dane could not be a better companion for her. They are constantly either wrestling or snuggling. The pup is now one year old and no joke, he still seems to grow every night while we’re all sleeping. Francis still treats him like her little pup!
