GRAYLING | WoodenBoat Legends (Full Episode)

WoodenBoat

From WoodenBoat's "Legends" series.

GRAYLING is an impeccably maintained 65’ power vessel that began life as a purse
seiner in 1915, later worked as a sardine carrier, and was converted to a yacht in 1997.
She was built in 1915 in East Boothbay, Maine, and worked for more than six decades
before falling idle in the early 1980s. Her history and restoration are detailed in this
video, with stunning archival photographs of her working life provided by Penobscot
Marine Museum, and recent video footage shot by Alison Langley—who edited this
presentation. The video is part of our WoodenBoat Legends series, which is normally
available only to members of our Mastering Skills membership site. The GRAYLING
video, however, is open for public viewing.
