Grad School Interview Tips | Counselling and Psychology Programs

Are you hoping to get accepted into grad school for counseling or clinical psychology? After completing your grad school applications, the graduate school admissions committees will invite a small number of potential grad students in for an interview.

How can you ensure that your interview goes well and increase the likelihood of getting into the counselling or clinical psychology program? My clinical psychology professor gave me some advice for how to be successful in these interviews. I will be sharing some of these grad school interview tips in this video.

I will also be sharing some grad school interview questions and answers that you may be asked, and questions you may want to ask potential research supervisors or current graduate students in your psychology program of interest. I will also briefly talk about the difference between counselling and clinical psychology programs, but if you have any questions about these programs, please let me know!

These grad school interview tips helped me succeed in my first year of grad school applications and get accepted into a counselling psychology masters program. I hope these tips will also help you in your psychology grad school interviews too!
