Metal detecting on the beach and finding buried treasure. Gold, Silver and possible shipwreck relics found in Juno Beach on day 2 with my Nokta Legend metal detector after a winter storm.

I decided to go for a treasure hunt south of the Juno Beach Pier in Jupiter, Florida, after a pretty significant winter storm. There were several weather warnings issued for Palm Beach County including Rip Current, High Winds, and Flood for the prior day but this day cleared up nicely, leaving large eroded sand cuts to hunt in.

I was able to hit the beach during low tide and discovered lots of erosion. I hunted in the eroded sand cuts and found several pieces of jewelry. One may have significant historic relevance.

As part of my wrapup, I show the gold test kit and test process.
The Ring tested as 3.9 grams of 18kt gold, and the Cross tested as Silver.

When I told my friends I was heading to the beach for the weekend, they all said I was nuts, and would get blown away. Well, I was, but figuratively. Great finds.
