Get inspired to revamp your outdoor spaces with some of these tips and ideas in today’s video! This old porch, or lanai as they call it in Hawaii, used to be fully carpeted and the walls were a notsobeautiful shade of hospitallike mint green, but NOW, it’s been transformed into a lush, plantfilled oasis for our lounging and outdoor dining needs. Plants were a huge part of this design, as well as some found driftwood and some logs from a dead tree on our property. I think we used around 30 air plants in this reveal LOL! The dining table is perfectly placed next to the passthrough window into the kitchen and the lower clubchairs are great for lounging with a morning coffee. The blue Moroccan rug underfoot will be kept safe from rain because of our large eves that overhand the house and deflect the water and I love having the super soft wool and bright color under foot. We plan to have many relaxing meals and times out here, enjoying the gorgeous island around us…I’m obsessed with how it turned out, what do you think???
