An epic before and after, there are so many fun and easy DIY projects in today's howto interior design video. We create a cozy, unique and modern bedroom design with a dramatic color change using beautiful dark wall paint in Lauren Riihimaki aka LaurDIY's primary bedroom. We create an epic DIY vanity complete with DIY builtin shelving (we show you how to build floating bookshelves), custom build butcher block countertops with a beautiful stain, vanity mirror and lighting and do it yourself builtin dog create. We show you a step by step howto, to get this project done for your own space. Lauren and Kate also create together, making a really easy piece of custom artwork for the bedroom wall with simple and minimalist lines and supplies. We're also creating a cozy lounge area in this bedroom complete with a Mr. Kate Tess Sofa in Grey linen. For the bed portion of this makeover we are brining in a beautiful vegan faux leather bed with an industrial/midcentury modern overhead light fixture. Another interior design tip we are using is bringing in long curtains to raise the eye up in the room and make the bedroom feel larger.
