The Twin Supercharged Pontiac made its way back down to the shop for some fuel system upgrades this week. Prepping for the Cleetus & Cars Indy burnout competition. Last year we thrashed this thing together and made our way down to the show, unfortunately the fuel system could not keep up and the bird only did about a 15 second burnout. In this episode the entire fuel system gets upgraded to 8AN fittings and line, new fuel pump, regulator, fuel rail and tank. Also added racing bucket seats and harnesses to keep myself in the seat where i belong. A 6AL2 Programmable MSD box was also added so timing can be dealt with properly as well as set a rev limiter. All was going well , until the new fuel pump quit pumping..... better here than in Indy... got a new one on the way, hopefully it resolves the issue!
