In yet another victory for protesters, a Quebec Superior Court judge has rejected an injunction request to dismantle a weeksold encampment by proPalestinian activists at McGill University.

Justice Marc St.Pierre wrote in his decision that McGill failed to prove an urgent need to take down the encampment.

The encampment began April 27 amid a wave of similar demonstrations across campuses in the United States over the IsraelHamas conflict.

As Gloria Henriquez reports, with negotiations between protesters and the university at a standstill, what happens next remains unclear.
