Diese Fahrt verschlägt den ICE1022 durch das schöne Mittelrheintal. Allerdings gibt es aufgrund von Bauarbeiten eine kleine Abweichung zum Regelweg. Ab Koblenz nämlich, zweigen wir von der linksrheinischen Strecke ab und wechseln auf die rechte Rheinseite. Von dort geht es über Neuwied, Bonn Beuel und Troisdorf bis zum Bahnhof Köln Deutz tief.

This trip takes the ICE1022 through the beautiful Middle Rhine Valley. However, due to construction work, there is a small deviation from the regular route. From Koblenz, we branch off from the left bank of the Rhine and switch to the right bank of the Rhine. From there it goes deep via Neuwied, Bonn Beuel and Troisdorf to Cologne Deutz station.
