Welcome back to 6 Hearts on 6 Acres, I am a gardener in Southwest Missouri. Until this year we were classified as zone 6b, but now after the changes we are 7a. I grow, harvest, and preserve a large part of the food that my family eats and I'm showing the full journey. That will include all of the successes, but also all of the failures because you learn from both!

I am so glad you're here! Tonight is so very exciting because I was able to do my first harvest from my Spring garden a harvest that went from garden to table! Tonight I picked spinach and a wide variety of lettuce for a delicious salad, and chives, thyme, and oregano to top some red potatoes which bonus points for them are all perennial herbs in my zone. Having an herb garden makes dinner time so much more delicious.
