To this date I have never seen a Lincoln tombstone welder dead and this was no exception.

Stuff I used in the video:
$8 new stinger I used: https://amzn.to/3Tfc2HA
Aluminum Welding Cables 4awg(=56awg): https://amzn.to/3P1Y1KY

VIDEOs of projects seen in this video:
240v Retractable Extension Cord Reel:    • DIY retractable WELDER Cord Reel 50am...
Spinning Paint Shaker:    • EASIEST Spray Paint Can Shaker Stirre...

After Thoughts about the Video: This had been sitting for days on the side of this super busy road as there was an obvious outline in the grass when I picked it up. Tons of foot traffic here as well and I assume that is where the leads, fan and power cord went off too. It's amazing the transformer didn't rip completely out of the housing in it's tumble but the steel mesh screen actually protected it. Total cost to bring this back to life: $22. ($14 for leads and $8 for stinger). I had the plug, fan, ground clamp etc. These are so simple and never die.

Aluminum WIRE(CCA) thoughts: I am very surprised at how much I actually liked it. It's less than 1/3 the weight of copper and seams the same flexible. The sheathing is rated to 80C/175F, so really good and on par with welding leads. I exceeded the duty cycle(20% at 225amps) welding a few sticks and the cable never heated up. It welds exactly the same as the copper leads on my other machines. The only rule of thumb is to step up 2 gauge sizes with aluminum. I only stepped up 1 (4awg alum vs 5awg copper) but in this short 1015ft length it seams to make no difference.
