Free Camping along the Gulf Coast is still possible at these free beach spots; Rutherford Beach, LA, Brazoria County Beach & Magnolia Beach, TX.

We made three stops along the Gulf Coast to do some free beach camping.

Our first free beach camping spot was at Rutherford Beach, LA. A nice big beach with great fishing from shore.

Our second free beach camping spot was at Brazoria County. Another nice wide beach. It's hardpacked for easy driving and can accomodate any sized rig.

Our third and final free beach camping spot is one we've stayed before. Magnolia Beach is located just south of Port Lavaca on Matagorda Bay. It's a rocky, hardpacked beach, but is still a great place to overnight or spend a few days if needed.
