François D'Haene is one of the greatest (some say the greatest) ultradistance trail runners in the world. He has won the prestigious UTMB an astonishing four times and clocked the fastestever traverse of the 210mile John Muir Trail. In 2021, he won the Hardrock 100, one of the most difficult trail ultras, breaking the overall record previously held by Kílian Jornet.
