Video I shot of the finish of the 2010 Pan Pacific Championship 10K open water race, held in Marine Stadium, Long Beach, CA, August 22, 2010. The clip is of the final 45 seconds of an almost 2 hour race, in approximately 63 degree water. Fran Crippen finished second. Full race results are here: http://www.swimmingworldmagazine.com/.... The 3rd was obtained online from Google images. Crippen died today (October 23, 2010) during another 10K Open Water race, in 86 degree F/30 degree Celsius water, held in the United Arab Emirates.
