We survived our first week fulltiming in our RV and were blown away by the Beauty in South Dakota Especially in the Black Hills and Custer State Park where we explored Sylvan Lake, Needles Highway, Custer Wildlife Loop, Wind Cave National Park and Mount Rushmore. When traveling to Custer South Dakota with Kids, it's important to have realistic expectations about what they will appreciate so don't be discouraged if they aren't impressed with Mount Rushmore because the Buffalo at Custer State Park Wildlife Loop will more than make up for it!
