Story line:
" It was already the end of December, and real winter had arrived. Every day the snowfall only became stronger, so much snow had already fallen that it was difficult to open the doors in the morning. Therefore, every couple of hours I went out into the yard and cleared the paths with a shovel so that they would not be too covered with snow. I have already forgotten when I saw such a harsh winter, the frost reached 30 degrees Celsius, it was very cold. It’s so good that my house was built of wood and stone; it retained heat very well. The house was always warm and cozy, there was a lot of firewood stored so that it could be enough for 5 similar winters. In the cellar there were many supplies of food and other necessary things, such as kerosene, matches, batteries for the radio, food for the cat Lussy, and much more. I have thoroughly prepared for this winter so that I can feel safe and comfortable in such weather. My house was small, it had a small living room, a small bedroom, a kitchen, and a bathroom. I often loved to sit in the living room by the fireplace, on a soft sofa by the window, and admire the winter fairy tale by the window. Outside the window one could see snowcovered pine trees and a perfectly white plain. In the evenings, I made myself delicious berry tea, took a book, covered myself with a blanket, and read, this was my favorite pastime. At this time, the cat Lussie was sleeping sweetly on her rug by the fireplace. The bright yellow flame of the fire was mesmerizing, and the crackling sounds of firewood emanated from it. In the corner of the room there was a beautiful, elegant Christmas tree decorated with toys, and it reminded me of the approaching New Year. There was a magical atmosphere in the room, here I felt comfortable and safe, as if time had stopped. And only a few hours later, my eyes began to close. I looked at the clock and was surprised; it showed half past three in the morning. I closed the book, moved into the bedroom, made the bed, and crawled under the soft duvet. A few minutes later I felt someone sneaking across the blanket, it was the cat Lussie. Then she curled up and continued her sweet sleep. After 5 minutes I also fell asleep sweetly. "
