In this video, I tried fasting for Ramadan for the first time in 2021. Ramadan is a month of sacrifice and prayer, where Muslims fast from sunrise until sunset.

I have not seen any Malaysian nonmuslim teens attempt to fast for Ramadan, so be sure to share this video with your friends to encourage them to participate in this wonderful culture.

Malaysia is a beautiful country and a melting pot of cultures, therefore growing up with Muslim friends and seeing them fast during exams was really inspiring. I can’t imagine how difficult that might be.
