Welcome back to my channel, this is my second review of Factor Keto meals. If you haven't seen the first one, I will link it in the cards so you can check it out. We initially decided to try Factor to help transitioning back into keto and to make meal planning easy.

Pros

Convenience is the biggest thing right now for our family. We have a lot going on and stay busy. I struggle to figure out what to eat for lunches and I wanted something easy that also fit a keto lifestyle that I was transitioning back to. These meet those requirements and only take 2 minutes to microwave.

Number 2 is price! For meals that match my goals and macro needs, and keep me full, $11 per meal is fantastic. I would have a hard time finding meals to make for this price.

Number 3 is taste/texture. The chicken isn't rubbery, the beef isn't mushy, and the shrimp weren't overcooked. These meals have bold flavors and are encouraging my husband and I to try new combinations. Like the Chicken A La Vodka, I had never had a vodka sauce and it was delicious the flavors were balanced and deep. The cauliflower mash is the closest thing to potatoes I have had while on keto even previously.

Cons

Number 1 Limited options, it may be different on some of their other plans, but with the keto plan the options are limited each week to about 10 choices.

Number 2 Limited variety, again it may be different with other plans, but with keto, these meals come with either broccoli, zucchini, cauliflower, or green beans. This turns into feeling like you are eating the same thing over and over and over. I have also noticed that entrée options that aren't chicken focused are limited to 23 per week. I get tired of chicken so many meals in a row.

Number 3 Quick expiration. These meals have an expiration 1 week after their delivery. I have seen others freeze them, but that ruins the convenience for me. Life happens and sometimes we go a different direction for lunch or are not hungry. I am not wanting to waste food. Especially complete meals.

Will I continue to buy?

Yes! My husband and I came up with a meal plan around our order. We determine which 5 lunches he will be taking, a couple options for dinners for two, and then I select 23 meals for my lunches since I am home and have much more available to choose from.
