If you haven't noticed yet, it's not all classic cars and racecars around here at Lucore Automotive the vast majority of our business is fixing cars trucks and vans for the normal person. Daily drivers and road trip vehicles. Well this 1996 Chevy Express 1500 came to us for some drivability concerns and an obvious misfire, little did we know just what was in store for us!

Often times the vehicles that come to us have been in and out of other shops before and often times had repairs done... or at least parts replaced. That was the case with this van as you'll quickly see it's been somewhere before us a variety of "repairs" performed. That's where we step in to hunt down the cause, or causes, and get our new customer taken care of. Fortunately as you'll see by the end of the video the issues are resolved and we can add this one to our Win column.

Repairs and troubleshooting like this are exhausting, not necessarily physically exhausting as we certainly do more intensive work, but more mentally taxing. Trying to determine what the actual issue is, back track through what could be causing said issue, while also trying to keep in mind what repairs have or may have been done that could ALSO cause issues. Sometimes a big portion of what we do, is fixing a repair (or repairs) other people have done in the past, in order to get something working properly.

This one isn't a flashy fun one but it's a good one, showing just some of the experiences we have behind the garage doors. Hopefully you all enjoy it and maybe even learn a thing or two!
