Today we're going to be taking a look at the SportRack Vista XL Rooftop Cargo Box with 18 cubic feet of space in black, part number SR7018. This cargo box will help protect your gear from the elements as well as free up space in your vehicle. As you can see it attaches easily to most roof rack systems using it's universal hardware. It includes a lock and key and opens at the back which gives us access to our gear from either side of the vehicle. Here on the inside you can see the nice ABS plastic construction, as well as the thumbscrews that help secure our cargo box in place. It's got a nice aerodynamic shape that helps reduce drag and wind noise on your roof. It's exterior dimensions are 63" long by 38" wide and 19" tall.

It has a weight capacity of 100 pounds. Now that we've gone over some of the features I can go ahead and show you how it installs on our load bars. I'll set it on top, we'll line our holes up on our load bars, push it on. We want to make sure that it's centered up with our vehicle. That looks pretty good. Now we'll come around back and we'll open it up.

Now that we've got our cargo box opened up we'll grab some of our hardware. We've got two plates here, we're going to take the big one first, slide it underneath between our load bar and our cargo box. We're going to line up the holes. Once we've got that lined up I'm going to grab our clamp and run that up where we've got our holes aligned. Now that we've got our clamp run up through our holes, we'll take our smaller plate and place that over the top. Once we have that on top we'll take our thumbscrews, screw that over the top here and then another one and do the same thing.

Once we get these tight we'll repeat the same process for the other three locations. Now that our box is secured to our rooftop system we can go ahead and load up our gear and hit the road. That's going to do it for the SportRack Vista XL Rooftop Cargo Box, 18 cubic feet of space in black, part number SR7018. .
