A greatlooking sweater begins with strong foundations: 1. what yarn to use; 2. what hook size to use; and 3. what stitches to use. In this episode I will explain how these three pieces work together to create a crochet fabric that's perfect for sweaters. Your homework is to choose the yarn, practice the stitches by making swatches with different hook sizes and select the fabric that displays both tight stitching and good drape. This way you will be ready to start your sweater in Episode 3.
