Myanmar, formerly known as Burma. A place I've always wanted to visit, but has been tragically out of reach for multiple years now. In 2021, the Myanmar military (also known as the Tatmataw) launched a coup against the civilian government, declaring the results of the November 2020 general election invalid and putting in place a oneyear state of emergency. Eventually that morphed into a fullscale civil war.

During my travels through Nagaland, in far northeastern India, I learned that there was a border where people pass freely from one country to another. In fact, there were people who had dual citizenship. This was Longwa, and I wanted to see it for myself.
