Wacom Should Feel Guilty And Ashamed On Its New Cintiq Pro Stands Because.......   • Wacom Should Feel Guilty And Ashamed ...

Our channel wants those who watch this video to know:

Wacom doesn't want people to use "SPen" EMR. The patent on Wacom "Penabled"/"Feel/"UD"/"SPen" EMR has expired, so anybody can manufacture SPen digitizers and SPen pens without paying Wacom. That's why you have twobuttonpluseraser SPens selling for $7 while an AES pen sells for $70$100. Wacom is already losing pen sales, if Samsung or anybody else decided to start manufacturing EMR digitizers, Wacom is done. So Wacom is hurrying to switch everybody to its worse but stillpatented AES technology. Additionally Wacom tweaked its EMR technology a little and patented the tweaks again, so the new EMR "Pro" is patent protected and only Wacom can license it. (In fact, even the EMR 'Pro' is expired now! The core patents for all components of the EMR module have expired!)

Making SPen digitizers the standard will kill Wacom's penselling business, and eventually kill Wacom's licensing business if SPen EMR displays become readily available to manufacturers.

I can responsibly say that the inhouse staff at Wacom's Japan HQ are well aware that their own nonPro line pen displays simply can't compete with the newest XPPen and Huion products that are now available. Because when the XPPen and Huion are released, the Japanese staff will go to Amazon and order a single unit to take back to HQ to try them out as soon as they are released on the company's books. They are as clear as a bell in their minds. In fact, the next generation of Intuos Pro samples have been 100% debugging completed. A variety of publicity and dissemination materials are ready, just do not want to release it. Now, with so many Chinese brands competing with Wacom, it's getting harder and harder for Wacom to make money from its pen tablet line. They just don't want to release it. If the flagship pen tablet is released first, not many people will be willing to buy a muchhigherprice premium pen displays. I am personally responsible for my speculations and statements!
