(2020) Eight big cats from an Indiana pseudosanctuary are safe and thriving at Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge.
In September, TCWR traveled to Wildlife In Need to rescue and help remove the remaining animals after the pseudosanctuary was ordered by the Federal Government to relinquish them due to 120 counts of abuse and neglect. The TCWR team and other rescuers required assistance from Federal Marshalls and SWAT Teams due to multiple threats.
All eight animals were suffering health issues, including severe parasite infestations. They are now healing, and their true personalities are starting to shine through. Watch the video to see their journey.
