Today we are installed a ghost key and a quick release. while these may not make the car faster around the track. these are some practical upgrades for the car before we start making is faster and more fun. While not theft proof the Ghost key does make a car harder to steal over the conventional key on an older Honda. Having a kill switch or multiple kill switches also helps prevent car theft as well. When using an aftermarket steering wheel for racing the one in this video is a no go. its not strong enough to handle an impact and the carbon around the wheel is not grippy enough for fast reactions. wheels used at the track should be strong, wrapped in leather or some form of suede, no pure carbon fiber and fiberglass. Stay tuned form next week. moving forward this build is going to get really good!
