24:46 Thanks for watching, Remember driving for DoorDash is more like running a small business than it is like working an hourly job.

Tip #1 Is the most important tip, give customers personal updates on the status of their order. Many times when the customer orders something the app is very vague on the status of the order. If you text them, introduce yourself and give them a quick update or ETA, most customers will be very grateful. This in turn will most likely get you a better customer rating. The customer rating is very important because the higher the rating you have the more confidence a customer will have on you bringing their order to them quickly and without issues.

Tip #2 was definitely the most painful trick to learn. I spent hours waiting for food to be ready at restaurants before realizing that I should just drop the order and move on. During one scheduled order for Grubhub I waited in a restaurant for about an hour and a half because they kept telling me "the order will be out in just a few minutes" in that time I saw several dashers come in, get fed up with waiting, drop the order, then leave. Right after they left the order would come out, then not even a minute later another dasher would come in and pick up the order. Moral of the story, if an order isn't ready for you, drop it and don't waste your time. Someone else will pick it up when it's ready.

Tips 3,4,5 and 6 kind of tie together. At the beginning I accepted every single order that DoorDash gave me, I thought if I help out DoorDash they'll return the favor. Some say that is how it has worked for them, they started getting the good orders after accepting the less desirable ones for a while. I didn't see that in my personal experience so I started being extremely selective, this saved me tons of time and I earned a lot more! I decided the downtown and big city areas weren't worth my time and the parking there was a nightmare. I chose my own hotspots that were not as popular and that gave me an advantage, I only picked orders that ended near other hotspots and I only went out during the busiest times of the busiest days. These may take a little time to learn about your area, so pay attention to these details as you're starting out.

Another thing that helped me a lot was getting better warming bags! I signed up for Grubhub and got their warming bags for free, they were so much better than the DoorDash bags. I once received an order, on DoorDash, for 5 EXTRA LARGE PIZZAS! DoorDash didn't have any pizza bags available, if I didn't have the Grubhub bags for that order, the pizzas would've gotten cold for sure. Thanks DoorDash for sending me an order that you can't even properly equip me for, talk about setting me up for failure.

Another important tip is to set up a separate bank account for your DoorDash earnings and expenses. Keep this separate from your personal accounts, it will make tax time way easier! Instead of sorting through all of your Amazon and Starbucks orders to find your warming bag receipts, you'll quickly be able to find all you need if it's all kept in a separate bank account.

Thanks for watching everyone! Remember DoorDash is more like running a small business than working an hourly job. Also keep the 80/20 rule in mind when dashing. Best of luck to you and Happy Dashing! Feel free to leave your tricks and tips in the comments!
