Dollar Tree DIY. Episode 4 The wood section & Resin.

To make your trinket tray:

Go to your closet Dollar Tree. Go to their wood section and pick out a wooden tray. Now head to their sticker/craft section and grab your favorite stickers. I chose some that looked like tiles. I wanted my trinket tray to look this way, but you can choose whatever you want!

I order my resin from Amazon. I’ll attach the link down below. I’ve also gotten my resin supplies from Amazon as well. If you search resin all of this stuff will come up.

You’ll want your resin to be clear so you can see the pattern/stickers underneath. Mix a 1:1 ratio of A&B (Resin). Then mix that for 3 minutes going in one direction, clockwise, or counter clockwise. Staying in one direction can help avoid bubbles. Next pour that clear mixed resin into your trinket tray. Make sure you only mix enough resin to just cover the stickers and create a flat surface. Then let it cure/harden for about 48 hours.

You are going to want to be exact when pouring your resin. Too much or too little hardener can cause under curing. Meaning the resin will remain sticky and pliable.
