Sweet, refined and elegant, the Silky Terrier was born from the idea of creating a dog with the innate qualities of hunter of the Australian Terrier breed, but in a smaller and more compact size. Small, but not fragile, strong, but not aggressive, the Silky Terrier is a 10inch breed that weighs 8 to 10 pounds, compact, light, with a low body and strong legs. Its coat is fine, shiny and silky, blue and fire or bluish gray and fire. It has small, dark, expressive eyes, an erect tail, a black nose, a strong jaw and small, thin and triangular ears.
