This poor girl is suffering, both physically and emotionally, and we need your support to do everything possible to help her overcome her past. After Squish's owner was sentenced to jail, his brother was designated as caretaker of her and the rest of his dogs. However, what their future held was something none of the innocent souls affected by this individual, could have anticipated.

Squish has such a kind and warm soul, which is shocking considering everything she has been through. After being severely abused by her caretaker, she now has only one eye and her nose is crooked from the extreme impact of being abused day in and day out. What happened to her missing eye? How did her nose become so shattered that she now has breathing problems? Though we may never know the extensive details, we do know that the answer is this: heartless, callous, and heinous abuse. Evil.

This girl is being welcomed into our care as we speak, along with the 2 other adult dogs and 2 puppies who fell victim along side her. Aside from Squish's medical issues already mentioned, she is also struggling to move about. Her body so weak and damaged that even standing up is a struggle. We fear what the others might be struggling with, but no issue would make us turn our backs on them. We will update everyone once they are in our care and we know more.

We need all the help we can get because we simply cannot help them alone. Anything you can give will help, but we are most in need of food, calming supplements, and comfort items such as blankets and toys. They all have been through the unthinkable but with your support, we can save them.
