Ava appears to be pretty spot on in her heel position but she is forging ahead, which is much more obvious in a video. She’s also crowding me and it’s also something I need to work on with her. Her eagerness and enthusiasm is awesome.

Videotaping occasional training sessions lets you analyze both you AND your dog so you can see what to work on. In addition, we also now keep a training planner so that we can write down plans and results after each session. It is too hard to try to remember with 5 of my own dogs in training what each is doing and needs to work on.
