I'm heard many tire shops tell me trailer tires don't need balanced. Are they different from truck tires? I'm seen many Centramatic wheel balancers on the big rigs at truck stops. 18 tires on a tractortrailer can cost thousands of dollars. If they do work, it could increase tire life. I'm all for that. We're at Transwest North of Denver with CJ finding out why Transwest puts them on all their new Summit Hauler conversion M2 Freightliner's. I remember in the seventies seeing this kind of tire balancers sold in JC Whitney. Back then the clipped on your cars hubcap.
