I built a stackable daybed for my bonus room. I wanted this bed to have the ability to be used as two single beds, or to be pushed together to make a king size bed without a gap between the mattresses. The main reason I wanted to build a stackable bed was to reduce the amount of floor space that two guest beds take up when not in use. This project was pretty simple and easy to build. I was able to reuse wood from previous projects to build it.
