This is my version of a selfwatering/selfwicking raised garden bed with an added worm tower for natural fertilizer
I finished this project in September of 2023, I wanted to see how it would hold up during the harsh Michigan winter. I am pleased to let you know that there was no freezing of the bottom area that holds the water. I must add that I did not add water after October as we had enough rain. I threw some seed in, and they germinated and grew. This will be a game changer this season. I also naturally stained my garden boxes with fire! Check out the videos below.

Garden Box Supply List:
10mil Plastic to line the bed
DuraWeave Landscape Fabric (optional)
3/4 PVC for overflow
Solid corrugated pipe and cap for water inlet
Solid Black Drain pipe and Cap for worm tower
Cheap landscape fabric to separate rocks from soil
Rocksmake sure they are smooth as many as you need to fill your garden bed at least a 3rd of your bed height
Soilsame as above
Worms!
